We’re a small, family-owned, old-school gym offering a serious strength and fitness facility with no binding contracts and no hidden sign-up fees — just simple, pay-as-you-go memberships that give you total freedom.

We’ve recently expanded with a brand-new personal training studio and cardio suite upstairs, fully equipped with a range of cardio machines, free weights, kettlebells, and pump sets — everything you need for a complete workout experience.

Our 2,500-square-foot warehouse-style facility delivers a raw, authentic training atmosphere, complete with all the essential equipment and amenities to help you train hard and achieve real results.

The Gym Floor

We also offer a full mix of machines and a complete cable system, featuring Primal Strength and Matrix equipment, giving members everything they need to train every body part properly. Alongside this, we have four adjustable benches and dumbbells up to 70kg, making it ideal for both heavy strength work and accessory training.

Strength Training

With competition-grade equipment, you can get ready for any competition.

We have squat racks, benches, and several deadlift platforms. Push your PRs to the next limit by working with lots of other equipment to ensure you break through that next barrier!

Dedicated cardio suite

Upstairs in our newly added cardio & fitness suite, you’ll find everything you need if you prefer to train away from the main gym. The space includes a full set of dumbbells, kettlebells, a pump kit, sandbags, plyometric boxes, step-ups and adjustable benches. We’ve also equipped the room with treadmills, an assault bike, SkiErg, rowers, spin bikes and a StairMaster. Combined with the darker lighting, it creates a brilliant and private environment to train in.

Strongman & Strongwomen

At The Powerbar Gym, we’re fully equipped for strongman training at every level. Our kit includes competition-standard logs, axles, farmers handles, yokes, sandbags, atlas stones, loading platforms, deadlift frames, and a full range of grip tools. Whether you're prepping for a local show or chasing national titles, you’ll find everything you need to train events properly and safely.

Weightlifting

Our Olympic lifting area features dedicated platforms built for serious weightlifting. With over 1,000kg of bumper plates available, lifters never have to wait for kit — whether you're drilling technique, hitting heavy singles, or running full weightlifting sessions. It’s a space designed for performance, consistency, and proper lifting.

Powerlifting

We’ve got four dedicated lifting platforms, two full sets of calibrated plates, and a Kustom Kit combo powerlifting rack for true competition-standard training. Alongside that, we offer four power racks and every specialist bar you could ever need — from axle bars to safety squat bars, deadlift bars, and more.

Athletic Training

An indoor 20m track, kettlebells, a lifting platform, heavy bags, and advanced sports training equipment are available to all members.

Outdoor area

We also offer a fully equipped outdoor training area, perfect for strongman events, conditioning work, and functional sessions. The space can be fully illuminated for night-time training, giving you the freedom to train hard whatever the weather or time of day. It’s built for heavy sessions, team training, and anyone who prefers to take their workouts outdoors.
